Automotive Window Tint
We provide two different ceramic automotive films that provide superior heat rejection, UV protection, and minimal interference with electronics, making them the preferred choice for drivers prioritizing functionality and long-term durability.
Installing window tint requires training and on-going practice. Not all tint shops offer the same quality. We have decided to partner with a tint shop that has far more knowledge and experience in installing tint than we do.
Car window tinting films fall into several major types, each offering distinct advantages. Dyed films provide privacy and are the most cost-effective option, although they offer less UV protection and can fade over time. Metalized films, incorporating microscopic metallic particles, reflect heat and UV rays efficiently, adding durability to the windows but potentially interfering with radio and GPS signals.
Carbon window tints boast a matte finish and effectively block infrared light without the risk of fading, making them a middle-ground option for those seeking performance without the metallic film’s drawbacks.
At the top end, ceramic films utilize advanced ceramic particles to offer superior heat rejection, UV protection, and minimal interference with electronics, making them the preferred choice for drivers prioritizing functionality and long-term durability. We only offer the top end of window tint-Ceramic film.
Some shops offer the lower-end films. They often turn purple and form many bubbles, especially on the rear window. We decided to only offer the higher-end films in order to meet the needs of our customers, which usually come to us because they only want the best.
SunTek Carbon
When compared to higher-end ceramic tints, SunTek Carbon performs admirably in several areas:
- Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER): Approximately 53%, which is slightly lower than some ceramic options but still offers substantial heat reduction. Reddit
- Infrared Energy Rejection (IRER): Around 55%, contributing to a cooler interior environment.
While ceramic tints may offer higher performance metrics, SunTek Carbon provides a commendable balance of performance and cost.
